On Friday 20th May 2011, Joan, Hayley, Jezz and Wayne go to Hampton Court Palace for the day.

Hampton Court — it’s been there all my life, you know?
Hayley, Jezz and Joan In the gardens, we went on the tram ride, powered by two beautiful 15 year old Shire horses.

King’s Throne The King’s Throne – we weren’t allowed to sit there!Probably something about us being queens.
King’s bed And this was the very bed of the King’s. We weren’t allowed on that either. It’s not very big, by today’s sizes.

Jezz, Hayley, Joan and me Stopped off at The Privy cafe for a bacon butty and a cuppa.
Jezz Jezz’s poses are largely influenced by me telling him where to stand or the faces to pull but on this occasion… he was waiting for me to come from around the corner
Jezz I wanted the effect of a giant Jezz… this was in front of one of the interesting seated shows the palace has. It taught us of the private rooms of the King.
One of the royal beds Hmm… Kingsize it it NOT.

The Gatehouse and Courtyard The huge courtyard and gatehouse of the palace.
Hayley I swear the man changed his facial expression when she put her arm around him.
Who ate all the pies? The usual… Jezz did.
Jezz picks up the cabbages After his 3 minute stand up comedy set, Jezz collects all of the cabbages thrown at him and seems quite upbeat about it.
Jezzy Potter It was either that or Jezz with his preferred method of transport.
Jezz at Tesco A standard shopping trolley has never been enough.
Jezz – a barrel of laffs It was either that or a pair of barrels.
Jezz Awe, he looks a little lost.
Jezz reflecting Jezz suddenly realising that jumping on the horse-drawn tram to get away from us was never going to work… it just circles the gardens and comes back.
