Brighton Spring 2005
This was a trip to Brighton for the weekend with Pete and Jezz. It was also the first time we met David Wallis.

The sign on the front of the building that is Legends hotel and bar. it was formerly known as The New Europe Hotel.

This is a view of the hotel from across the road, Marine Parade.

This was the view from the hotel bedroom window. It’s of Brighton Pier and across the road.

This was the first time we met David Wallis.

While Jezz stayed overnight at David’s, in Kemptown, Pete and I stayed in the hotel and bar, Legends.

We’re in the bar, downstairs from the hotel, at ground level to Marine Parade.

It wasn’t the best looking pub… a bit spit and sawdust but the prices of ales and spirits were good.

Pete at the marina.

At the marina.

We take a boat trip out from the marina and over to the West Pier and back. It’s about half an hour and fabulous to see Brighton from out at sea.

This plastic shark was a feature on the boat and made for a good photo opportunity.

Coming back in to the marina and in to shore from the boat trip.

A favourite photo: David drove us to Devil’s Dyke and this was me and Jezz.

In the evening, we all went for something to eat at the Marina. This is inside the restaurant Café Rouge.

A favourite photo: The remains of the West Pier.
